A few tips about Zoom:

• If using it on a mobile device (phone, tablet), download the free Zoom App from the app store prior to the event.

• We will mute your microphone when you join, this is to reduce background noise.

• Questions or comments can be typed into the chat and we will share them with Diana.

• Sound can often be a problem, be sure to sign on with computer audio as you join.

• You can choose if you want your video camera on or off. It is not necessary to have it on for the session, but at the end if you want to share your work, you’ll have the opportunity to do so.

• For the hearing impaired we have captions enabled, if this is something you need, be sure you select this option. If you don’t need them, you can hide them.

The Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts turns 18 this year and we are excited to celebrate and connect with all of you. We won’t be able to throw our usual party this year, so instead we're hosting a live art session that's all about relaxing through creative expression.

Everyone is welcome to participate with no artistic experience needed! Lead Artist Diana Cline will guide us through a process called neurographic drawing alongside our 2021 Artist of the Year, the incredible Uli Rossier.

Everyone is welcome, even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, please participate. Your picture can be as simple or dynamic as you choose.

Supplies list

• Paper

• Black permanent marker

• Choose a Colour Medium (markers, pencil crayon, watercolour paint, pastels, etc)

You don't need to shop for this art class, you can use what you have. * Tip: If you don’t have a black permanent marker use a pen.

Registrants will be entered into a draw for an amazing Gift Basket including a Create Kit, original art, and Nina merchandise!
